Little Johnny and his dad were going to buy a horse.

Dad: Checking to see if the horse is healthy so I can buy it.

Explanation

Little Johnny sees his dad checking a horse by touching it and assumes this is how you shop for people, too. He then implies that the 'mall man' is interested in buying his mom because he probably touches her like his dad touched the horse.
