Listen here, you smooth-brained simpleton, you probably don't understand a joke. You have a face that could curdle milk and probably still believe in Santa. This joke plays on the stereotypical emo kid who is sad and would be against doing something normal like crossing a road, because they'd rather not get to the other side. They are contrary and would rather not do what is expected.
