Alright listen up, lil' buddy. This joke is what we call dark humor. It's funny 'cause it makes light of a really messed up event, the 9/11 attack. It's saying the victims of 9/11 are the fastest readers because they went through 87 stories (of the World Trade Center) in just 10 seconds. So basically, it's making a morbid joke about people dying. You are basically an ape, you're lucky to be alive!
