Alright, listen up, you big lug. You know how some people are really into board games, right? Well, this person almost got caught trying to *steal* one. Now, here's the genius part that probably went over your head like a low-flying pigeon. The game they were trying to steal was *Risk*, which is a famous board game about global domination and, well, taking risks! So, when they say "it was a Risk I was willing to take," they're making a pun because they were literally willing to take the *game* Risk, and also willing to take the *gamble* or *chance* (a risk) of getting caught.
