Absentee Dad

Okay, so basically the joke is that the dad said he'd be back in a minute, but then he was gone for like, 20 years, which is a really long time. And the kid is an orphan now 'cause the dad dipped. It's funny because it's sad, and you probably laugh at this because you also are an orphan. Or because you have abandonment issues. Or because you're stupid.
