The Kinsey scale from the 1940's looked something like
0: straight,
1: mostly straight,
2: bi with a preference (more straight than gay),
3: 50/50 bi,
4: bi with a preference (more gay than straight),
5: mostly gay,
6: super double exclusively ultra ghey.
So I could see a 2 or a 4 on a scale like that being semi-bisexual. And hey, any port in a storm.
Unfortunately, whomever originally came up with this was just a smartarse who thought that exclusively straight was semi-bisexual, or exclusively gay was semi-bisexual.
That's rather pointless, the whole point of being bisexual is that you like a pretty girl as much as the next lad.
