Orphanage Visit

The humor comes from the unexpected recognition. The person visiting the orphanage as an adult was actually an orphan there when they were a kid. It's kind of a dark realization with a funny twist.

• I found a place before called an orphanage, but when I was allowed in there were lots of kids, and I said, "Where's your parents? Oh yeah, you're orphans." Gosh, that was one heck of a day!
• I asked, "Where are your parents?" and oh god, I love working at an orphanage.
• A little kid was lost, and he asked me to find his home. I love working at the orphanage.
• This kid was crying, so I asked him where his parents were. He just cried harder. I still remember him every time I pass that orphanage.
