Mosquito and Mountain Climber

What do you get when you cross a mosquito with a mountain climber?

Nothing. You can't cross a vector and a scalar.

Listen up, buttercup. This joke is all about math! A mosquito is a "vector" (it has direction AND size), and a mountain climber is just a "scalar" (size only). You can't just add 'em together, dingus! It's like trying to mix oil and water... or your brain and common sense!

Do I need to explain this to anyone?

pls explain 1st part 2nd art i guess is maths....

Yes very much do

It's a play of the words 'vector' and 'scalar' both are quantities in math but also a vector is a carrier of a disease. And the guy climbing the mountain is scaling it so scalar and vector.

That’s kinda lame when u have to explain the joke

I know, it's like I'm the only clever one here

I reckon my math teacher would get it

Try your science teacher, too
