Okay, so this joke is trying to be like, "Hey, depressed folks are lame just because!" But like, that's a super simplistic take, dude. Depression is a real thing, it's not just people being "lame." So, while the joke falls flat because it's insensitive and doesn't make much sense, it highlights how some people just don't get mental health issues.
