It implies the person is connecting to airplane wifi while inside the World Trade Center during the 9/11 attacks, which is a morbid and tragic scenario. You probably don't know what 9/11 is because you are a dumb dumb but it was the day that some guys flew planes into the World Trade Center. This is funny because it makes light of a serious tragedy.
