An innocent boy is reading through his father’s phone, looking at the messages and trying to learn things about his family from them. He saw a message asking for something which seemed strange, but ultimately the boy decided to surprise his father with what it said.
“Timmy, why are there thirty-five cats in the living room?” shouted the father.
“I was only supplying what you wanted from Mother!” replied the boy.
Hey, you big ol' dumb-dumb! You know how sometimes words sound the same but mean totally different things? Like "bear" the animal and "bare" like "no clothes"? Well, your tiny brain probably didn't catch that the father probably texted the mother asking for "cat calls" – like, flirty compliments, you know, for *her*! But your even tinier brain, Timmy, heard "cats" and thought, "Aha! Dad wants actual fluffy, meowing kitties!" And because you're not very bright, you got thirty-five of them! See? One word, two meanings, one very confused dad, and one very dense boy. You probably think "your" and "you're" are the same too, don't you? Based on this, you clearly don't understand basic English!
