Okay, so get this: the dude's grief counselor DIED, right? And he's all, "I don't even care" because the counselor did such a bang-up job curing his grief. It's like, the counselor was so good, he made himself obsolete. You probably don't get that because you obviously have low emotional intelligence, judging by the fact you like "jokes" by "The kid".
