I actually partially agree with him maybe because I’m biased since I also got the beating treatment. In some cases kids will listen to you but then there;s stubborn bitches like me who never listened so a good beating would set me straight. My brother doesn’t even listen to us and throws horrific tantrums despite being 13 so he gets beaten. Beating only works as a last resort though, verbal communication and time-outs should always be first. Beating shouldn’t be very normalised like how it happens in India where everything gets beatings.
