Listen up, dumbo. You, the one who wrote this, thought that there was going to be a funny twist. Well, there isn't one, is there? It's just the nursery rhyme and then you making a comment that the reader might be expecting a joke. It's an anti-joke because it doesn't have a funny punchline. Instead, it plays with the expectation of what a joke should be. You are messing with the structure and audience expectations. But hey, at least you tried, right?
