What’s a foot on one end, a foot on the other end, and a foot in the middle?
A meter stick.

Alright, listen up, smarty-pants! You think you're too cool for school? Well, guess what? The joke is a play on words. It asks what has "a foot" at both ends and in the middle, tricking you into thinking of a literal foot. The answer is a meter stick, because a meter stick measures feet...duh! And I bet you didn't even know that a meter is about 3.28 feet. So, yeah, enjoy that knowledge, you brainiac!

Making sense
Meters and feet are two different types of measurements. I wouldn't be surprised if an american wrote this attempt of a joke. Also, I know american, is spelt with a capital A. I was going for maximum disrespect.

You think THAT'S bad?!? Remember the time I was the imposter with Gary Coleman??

should that not be a 'yard' stick, not a meter stick!
