I had to kill a lizard bc my cat had mortally wounded them but he didnt bother killing them

and u see

at first I had to find out the most painless way to do that

however which each minute I spent doing that, the Lizard was still in pain

eventually I found out that the best way that doesnt involve fancy chemicals I dont have access to is to completely destroy its brain as quick as possible

so I grabbed a tiny sledgehammer

and I struck its head, except I was rlly anxious and i REALLY didnt want to do this, and so I did it gently, and I heard a lil crunch

I didnt do it hard enough, and so not only was the lizard in exteme pain but its couldn't even move properly bc its body was so destroyed and it likely had extreme brain damage

within less than a second tho I repeatedly smashed their head until their entire upper body was flattened

but it was rlly upsetting for me

im not very mentally strong =<

that sucks im so sorry
