Alright listen up buttercup, this joke is dark because Jimmy Savile was a BBC personality, like you are also a personality of sorts, and after he died, it came out that he was diddling kids. So the joke is saying he should've been on a show called Pop OFF the Tops instead of Top OF the Pops because he liked to make kids pop OFF.
