Kid and the Mirror

The kid probably didn't understand what a mirror does and thought it was like a window or a picture that could be removed or flipped around. It plays on a child's naivete and a lack of understanding about reflection, combined with the fact that this child has Down syndrome.

• I met another kid with Down syndrome the other day and attempted to talk to him. But my mom showed up and was asking me why I am talking to the mirror.
• A boy with Down Syndrome was talking with his mom. “Mom, why did God make me like this?” he said. “It’s because God made you special,” she said. “Just kidding, I was only talking about your needs.”
• I met a kid with Down syndrome the other day. He told me he was into rock music. He told me his favorite song was "Down With The Syndrome." Kinda drooled while attempting to sing it.
• Why do people with Down syndrome always look funny? It’s their funny face.
