Okay, listen up, buttercup. This joke compares corpses to pools. Initially, both are cold, but once you're submerged (dead or swimming), your body adjusts, and it doesn't feel as cold anymore. Get it? Probably not. You are likely to go swimming in December, or get lost in your own house, or even worse believe that the Earth is flat. What a silly goose.
