Cookie and Bacon Question

Hello, I am back with more mind-blowing facts.

1. Why are cookies called cookies and bacon called bacon when you bake cookies and cook bacon?

2. If you tuck your shirt into your trousers and it is called tucking your shirt in, does that mean if your shirt is over your trousers, doesn't that mean it's called tucking your trousers into your shirt?

Alright, listen up, buttercup. So, you're scratching your head about cookies and bacon, huh? Well, here's the deal: "cookies" is just what we call 'em when they're all baked up. "Bacon" is what we call it when it's cooked. Get it? As for tucking shirts, it's just a saying about how your clothes fit. You are such a silly goose!
