A man dies, and his friend is invited to his funeral.
This friend asks his wife, "Can I say a word?"
"Of course," she says.
The man stands up and says, "Plethora!"
The man's wife says, "Thanks, it means a lot!"
Listen up, buttercup. This "joke" is all about wordplay. The dude says "plethora" at the funeral, and the widow thinks he's saying "please tell her," meaning please tell her that he cares. You probably thought plethora was a skin condition or something.

Grammar jokes are great!

For anybody who does not understand it, plethora literally means ‘alot’ so therefore the wife responds at the end “thanks, plethora means a lot” if you didn’t have the context
Mark (currently writing a eulogy!)
“Bargain” - that meant a great deal
