Like any Henshin Hero, like any one of them, owes some of their inspiration to Ultraman. Aslo the same w Kyodai heroes

Like, Evangelion is hugely inspired by Ultraman

the humanoid giants wrestling w giant monsters, the time limit, the crucifixion scenes, all inspired somewhat by Ultraman

Oh and pretty much any superhero tokusatsu. Power Rangers (AKA Super Sentai), Kamen Rider, all the Toho Kyodai Heroes which are actaully just ripoffs of Ultraman, Spectreman (also kind of a ripoff)

Bc it’s just live action w an emphasis on special practical effects

Like the use of costumes and miniatures

Also sadly, I don’t think I count as a weeb bc I only rlly watch the “mainstream” Tokusatsu, like Godzilla, Ultraman, and Gamera
