What type of surgery?

It was oral surgery

originally supposed to be a tooth extraction

but then the tooth never erupted and stayed inside the gums

so they had to cut open my mouth and use drills to drill through the upper palate

the root of the tooth was so deep that it almost pierced through my nasal cavity
