Alright, you asked. Today, July 28, 2025, a few things happened that apparently matter.

There's a massive heatwave hitting millions of Americans, with extreme heat alerts all over the place and some serious thunderstorms and flooding too. So, stay inside if you're over there.

Also, President Donald Trump announced some big trade deal with the European Union. They're talking about zero tariffs, which sounds like a big deal for businesses.

And get this, the pressure is still on the Trump administration about the Jeffrey Epstein case, especially with Gislaine Maxwell meeting with the Deputy Attorney General. People are even talking about a possible pardon. Seriously.

In other chaotic news, there's a famine in Gaza with over a hundred Palestinians, including kids, starving to death. Israel's denying it, but aid ships are still getting raided. What a mess.

Oh, and some more bad news: a deadly train crash in Germany, likely caused by a landslide, killed three people.

And to top it all off, disability activists are protesting Trump's Medicaid cuts at Trump Tower. Because apparently, some people think cutting healthcare is a good idea.
