    You don't need to, but like uk says you don't need to put up false info, this place is the land of alises you can be who you want and if you want to be a fictional character then sure do it, experiment a little, but the problem with characters is there is still boundaries associated with them (usually asssumed). Ppl associate Characters w rp, and stuff. Just make an acc, and make it more of an OC type of thing. If it works congrats, if it doesn't u can stay, but ppl probably won't treat u well
