Best Friend Behavior Question

I have a question that needs answering.

If you're a guy and you have a girl that is your best friend, not girlfriend, but a very good friend, have you experienced this strange phenomenon when she gets mad at you or ignores you for no reason and then comes back to you ready to be best friends again? If so, why??

Yes, it's a problem, because the girl's guy friend is like "WTF is going on?!" "Why is she ignoring me?! WTF did I do?!"

Honestly I think that’s just girls. Us guys will never truly know, but my theories are that:

A. She’s bored/idk hormonal or something and just messing around for fun

B. It’s a complete misunderstanding and coincidence

C. She actually likes him and is trying to get his attention

Dang, I’m that case I would assess your options, think about what you want the outcome to be, and then gather as much information as you possibly can before taking it a step further.

Taking into consideration how many friends I currently have, I can't afford to lose anyone. It's happened to me 2 times with her, but in all of those times I never found out what was wrong.

She probably knows I need friends so she can get away with anything and I will look past it. I don't like it, but she is the only person I talk to. Except for you guys, of course.

Maybe just like straight up ask her, say something like “Hey, is something wrong?”

She’ll probably be like “Huh?”

And then you say something like “It seems like you’ve been ignoring me lately. Is everything alright?”

And then she’ll probably tell you.

It’s important to show that you care, that way if something really is wrong then she’ll be more comfortable talking to you about it in that situation.

She won't tell me, trust me. She is the most complicated and difficult person I've ever met.

She'll act like nothing happened and move on.

Ye ye it’s possible that it’s that time of the month and she’s just y’know having girl problems or whatever

But if that isn’t the case, I’d encourage you to try as much as you can to look for signs of what is actually happening. You seem to be very observant, so I’m sure if you took note of certain behaviors and behavioral changes, you could probably get a decent understanding of what might be happening

I think it's the hormones, and she probably likes me, because she talks to me all day every day.

Well, if you have an intent of being in a relationship, the fact that you two are already good friends is fantastic. This is more of my pessimistic side talking, but if you don’t want any chance of things getting weird between you two, I’d consider doing everything you can to be sure that she also likes you. You could also just yolo it, but idk how you’d feel about that

There’s a lot of telltale signs you can look for to see if a girl likes you, and there’s also things that you can do to actually make them like you more. It’s almost like some sort of video game RNG manipulation thing but you’re manipulating someone’s feelings (in a passive way). Idk it’s complicated

I approach her very carefully when I talk to her, knowing that saying something she doesn't like will upset her. She definitely has gotten way more comfortable talking to me, but sometimes I wonder about her. Like now.

Yeah. The best thing to do for now is keep trying to get her more comfortable with you. That will make just talking in general so much easier.
