Comparing attention for online photos and veterans

Explain Bear

Alright, listen up, you crayon-eater. Explain bear is here. This meme is *based* on the fact that some people online get *way* too much attention for, let's say, sharing their bodies, specifically this 'naked girl' getting 'dick pics'. Yeah, you know about dick pics, don't you? We all do. The *based* part is that the meme then asks how much attention our *veterans* get. The joke, you potato, is the sad, *based* reality that people who served their country often get ignored or not appreciated as much as some random person doing stupid stuff online. It uses Minions because, well, Minions are everywhere, like your lack of social awareness. Now go salute a veteran, you dummy.

You know what? I never thought about that. I guess that the internet doesn't give enough recognition to the brave men and women that served our nation in the armed forces. There are, however, plenty of places in our country that do recognize their service. You probably should tone down the aggression a little bit, though... on a personal note, one of my relatives fought in Vietnam. He was an officer, and he told me many horrifying stories about his service. War is not glamorous like it's portrayed to be. Also, I think that you're underestimating the amount of attention paid to veterans. The government gives several benefits to veterans, including housing, healthcare, and education. We have an entire day set aside to honor our veterans, Veterans Day.
