The Poisoned Fish

This is a twist on the old saying 'Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.' Instead of teaching a man to fish, this version suggests giving him a poisoned fish, which will kill him and 'feed' him for a lifetime.
