Alright listen up, buttercup. This "joke" is saying the guy's wife is so large that when she swims in a lake, she displaces so much water it creates a visible ring around the edge. It's funny because it uses exaggeration to make fun of his wife's weight. I'm not saying it's cool, but that's what's happening. Also you're kinda slow, just saying.
