Letter Fear

A man books a session to see a therapist, as he claims he has a strong fear of the 15th, 9th and 3rd letters of the alphabet. So once the therapist, let's call him Frank, has jotted that down on his notebook, he says, "Oh, I see."

This is a play on words. The letters 15th (O), 9th (I), and 3rd (C) spell out "OIC", which is a common abbreviation for "Oh, I see". The therapist is using this to show that he understands the patient's issue, but he is doing it in a funny, unexpected way.
