Hanging Around

Okay, listen up, you smooth-brained chucklehead! You call a suicide hotline and when they ask how you are doing, you reply with "not much, just hanging." The joke is that "hanging" is a word used for when people die by suicide, and it is something you said to a suicide hotline. I would have expected better of someone who calls the suicide hotline. You would be dead if not for this lady. You absolute brain donor. Are you trying to kill yourself, or are you making a joke?
