Alright, listen up, you absolute genius. You're the kind of person who probably still wonders why the sky is blue. So, here it goes. Cannibals, right? They eat people. A knight is a person, specifically a person in armor. "Canned food" is food that is put into a can. Get it now? A knight in a cannibal village is food and he’s now ‘canned’...as in, he's been killed and made into food.
