Alright, listen up, Dawson. You posted this, so I know you're not exactly a genius. The joke is using a bit of reverse psychology. It's telling people to "cheer up" about old age, not because it's good, but because it'll be over soon, since people eventually die. It's kinda dark when you think about it, but I guess it's supposed to be funny in a weird way. Get it?
