The Uniqueness of QR Codes

  • Every QR code is different because it holds different information, kind of like how every sentence you write is made of different letters. The black and white squares are basically a secret code that a phone camera can read, and when you change the website link, text, or data inside, the pattern of squares has to change too so the scanner knows it’s something new. There are also special parts of a QR code that help the camera find it and fix small mistakes, so even if it’s a little blurry or scratched, it still works. All of this together makes each QR code unique, which is why they don’t all look the same even though they kinda seem similar at first glance.
