Wind is legit just air moving from one place to another because of differences in temperature and pressure in the atmosphere. The sun heats the Earth unevenly, so some areas get warmer than others, and warm air rises while cooler air sinks. This makes areas of high pressure and low pressure, and air naturally moves from high pressure to low pressure, which we feel as wind. Things like mountains, oceans, forests, and even cities can change how the air flows, making wind stronger, weaker, or change it's direction. So wind didn’t just appear and say fucking "peek-a-boo", it’s basically the result of the sun constantly heating the Earth and the atmosphere trying to balance everything out.
