  • Iced coffee usually costs more than hot coffee because coffee shops use extra stuff to make it, like more coffee, ice, cold brew machines, and bigger cups. A lot of the time, they also spend more time making it, especially if it’s cold brew because that can take hours to prepare. Even though it feels like you’re getting less coffee because of all the ice, stores still charge more since it costs them more money, and people are willing to pay for cold drinks, especially in warm weather.
