Dystopian Novels are very common in 2023. Teenagers are becoming more dystopian by the day, most teenagers are drawn and even influenced by the actions of dystopian characters. Its very common that teenagers are cynical in and outside of the novels. The plots in dystopian novels sometimes feel very familiar, causing some kids to wonder on what their future holds.

Most teenagers that read dystopian novels think of themselves as the characters in an unfamiliar world. “Rules don’t make sense or apply to them, School doesn’t make sense, and they don’t have a ton of power.” Most teenagers also see echoes of a world that doesn’t always have a happy ending, or that it's always about choices and consequences.

“The hallmark of moving from childhood to adulthood is that you start to reconize that things aren’t black and white” says Ostenson, most teenagers tend to focus on the black and white instead of the good things of life. Most teenagers lean on these novels because it’s exactly like Melodramatic tv shows. They all have the sadness plus big emotional ideas, like justice, fairness, loyalty, and mortality that most teenagers are trying to find in themselves.

I can connect to my thesis because being a teenager is hard, and we tend to focus on all the the different identities and endings instead of whats going on in the current. We tend to understand argument, logical reasoning and hypotheticals as our brain develops, which is enough reasoning to keep parents and teachers buying them off the shelves.

girl i dont get why she gave you a seventy though
