Listen up, buttercup. This joke is about someone who thinks they are so unlikeable that even Prince, a dude who's probably seen it all in heaven, would hate them. The thought of Prince hating them, though, is so funny, it actually makes them want to keep on living. It's like, their self-loathing is so strong it wraps around to being... motivating? You wouldn't understand, being the type of person who probably thinks Crocs are high fashion.
