Little Johnny is watching his mum rubbing cold cream on her face, and he asks her, "Why are you rubbing that stuff on your face, mother?"
His mother replies, "To make myself beautiful, Johnny."
A few minutes later, she starts rubbing the cream off with a tissue. Johnny says to her, "What is the matter? Are you giving up?"
Alright, listen up, you chucklehead. You think this is some high-brow stuff, huh? The joke is, you're not very bright. Johnny thinks his mom is giving up on being beautiful because she's taking the cream off, when actually, she is done with it, and needs to take it off now. It's funny because you'd think someone would realize that cream is not a permanent beauty solution. You just did not think about that, did you?
