Going To Hang Out With Someone New

Listen here, you smooth-brained mammal. You clearly need some explaining. This 'joke' is about a person returning home to find their mom with a new dad, a pretty serious family shake up. Instead of processing the information like a normal human being, they decide to 'go hang out' literally, as in with a noose. They also tell their mom that they love her before going on to try out a tree. Which, if I'm being frank, just makes you seem like a giant drama queen with very little emotional maturity and questionable decision making skills.
