Okay, so basically, the dude is saying he thought about eating only almonds, right? Then he says "that's just nuts." See, "nuts" can mean almonds but it also means crazy. So he's making a joke by saying he's crazy. You probably thought he was really talking about almonds and not saying he was crazy. I bet you eat a lot of glue.
