The Run for Life and Death

The run for life and death Hi, I’m ava and I was in school at the time of the outbreak. You see, I'm at a success school. It's pretty much an alternative school for me and about 300 other people. Counting teachers, janitors, housekeeping, and students. Now to remind you this is a “school” so there's a lot of kids here, both boys and girls Attend this school and like any other school my school didn’t allow electronics in the classroom. Plus my classroom didn't have any tv and if there was a tv in the room they weren’t supposed to turn it on and watch it. so when the first teacher got the notification they ignored it but... the notifications did not stop so when mrs. gate my first period class got the notification she thought it was a joke so of course she giggled And shrugged it off “What’s so funny?” I ask, confused “well...” she says “I just got a storm surge but it is perfectly good weather outside” the class looked out the window and started to whisper. Her phone dings again “oh...? I looked at flake who was already looking at me “okay let's get back on task everyone '' Mrs. gate says “ding'' her phone made another sound “oh...?” she says looking down at her phone “i got to go to the office” she pushes the button to call the front office. the front office answers right away “mrs. c-air, I need someone to come to room 408...'' Mrs. gate said in a shaky voice “is it about the um... the notification...?” mrs. c-air says, trying to hide something. “Yes, how do you know?” “I got them too” hang on, I just got another one...?!?” The front office hangs up the entercom. mrs. The gardener looks at the class concerningly “okay class, let's get back to work,” which we didn't hear from the front office. The first period passed just fine after that. We have a block schedule that day it was odd so in third period was when it started First mr. kai did not show up to class and HE was the teachers ``he supposed to be here...” i say concerningly “no sh*t!!!” said someone “who said that?!?” I start looking around and I stand up out of nowhere and I hear a loud scream and I fall back “WHAT THE HELL!?!” I run to the door and swing it open. I look to the left side of the hall and see something horrid... “MR. kai!?!” he didn't look normal... well he had one of the little kids by the collar of the shirt maybe something like this but a lot more fixing up
