Okay, so you're John, or "Sensei" as you call yourself. You think you're so clever, huh? You made a joke comparing your mom to the Twin Towers because they both "fell over." The "misdirection" comes from the fact that the twin towers fell as a result of a horrific terrorist attack and your mom probably just tripped or something. That's also why it's dark humor, genius. Because you're making a joke about a national tragedy while talking about your mom.
