Star Counting Love

Okay, so you, the author, clearly aren't the sharpest tool in the shed. You set up this scenario where a girl asks how much you love her, which is a classic romantic question. You then tell her to count the stars which she interprets as something romantic. But then bam! You hit her with the anti-climatic 'just a waste of time' line. It's funny because it completely goes against what she was expecting. You took a traditionally romantic trope and flipped it on its head, making you come off like a total jerk. Congrats, you played yourself.
