Hypothetical World Systems Discussion

The point of this is too see how diffrent people would react during these ways of the world. If you want to participate, please say a name (can be yours or a fake one, just to repersent you) your age, gender, and relgion. World System 1: Global Democracy With No Borders

Basic Idea: The world functions similarly to modern-day America, but without national borders.

Features:

One elected global leader chosen by a worldwide popular vote.

Legal system is similar to the current U.S. legal system.

Free movement—people can live and travel anywhere because borders don’t exist.

Culture and government vary locally, but everyone ultimately answers to the global leader.

Goal for interviewees: Understand how people feel about a borderless world with democratic global rule.

World System 2: Total Centralized Control (Hereditary Leadership)

Basic Idea: A single family or bloodline rules the entire world as a hereditary dynasty.

Features:

The ruling family assigns each person:

Their job

Where they live

How many children they may have

Their income or resource level

Movement and life choices are strictly regulated.

Stability is valued, but individual freedom is limited.

Goal for interviewees: See how people think about a world where order and structure are prioritized above personal choice.

World System 3: A Resource-Based Society With Mandatory Religion

Basic Idea: A world where everyone follows the same enforced religion (your example uses Islam, but for research purposes you can clarify that this is a fictional system inspired by but not equivalent to real religious practice).

Features:

Religion is mandatory for all citizens.

Each household is provided with a home by the government.

People without families are assigned housing with others.

After age 20, everyone must work unless they attend college.

People can choose any career they want.

Basic needs are free:

Food

Housing

Essential supplies each month

Money exists, but only for non-essential, extra items or luxuries.

Goal for interviewees: Explore how people feel about a system with guaranteed essentials but strict religious and social rules.
